You can book into a class through exploring the Class Schedule page and selecting Reserve. If you are signed in but do not have a credit to use, you will be prompted to purchase one via the Purchase Page. You must create an account and log in to book into class.

How to Access:
MVMNT On Demand is accessible via web browser, at ondemand.the-mvmnt-society.com, or within The MVMNT Society mobile app. In the app, select the furthest right tab with the four squares, then select the icon with the play button.
How to Subscribe:
Purchases of the MVMNT On Demand services may only be made via web browser. Purchases of the MVMNT On Demand services are not available in The MVMNT Society mobile app. Once a client purchases a MVMNT On Demand membership, MVMNT On Demand services will become accessible by logging in via the web browser or mobile app.

Whatever you’re most interested in! All classes are suitable for all fitness levels, and our instructors are trained to offer both modified and advanced options.

If a client arrives to the studio after the scheduled class time for which he or she is registered, the client will be denied entry. This is for the safety of all clients and instructors. If you arrive to the studio late, please see the Front Desk Assistant.

When a spot in the class becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically added into the class. That person will receive an email notification confirming their registration.
Our waitlist cut off time is four hours before the class starts, including for morning classes. Clients should treat the waitlist like a regular class booking. If the client does not wish to wake up early to check if he or she has gotten into class, we suggest cancelling the waitlist registration before going to bed.
If someone late cancels and a spot opens up within four hours of the class start time, a staff member may call clients on the waitlist to see if they are able to make it to class. Clients will not be automatically added into class within four hours of it starting.

For credits and memberships that may be exclusively used to book classes at our Alexandria studio, you must unreserve from class at least four (4) hours prior to the start of a weekday class or by 9 pm the evening before a weekend or holiday class. If you cancel after that time, you will lose your class credit and the applicable Late Cancel fee of $15.00 will be charged to the card on file.
For credits and memberships that may be used to book classes at all studio locations, you must unreserve from class prior to 9:00 PM the night before the class. The Late Cancel fee and, if applicable, loss of credit is then assessed based on studio-specific policies above.
You must personally unreserve from class while logged into your MVMNT account online or in the mobile app, or via a third-party booking app, if such was used to book class.
If a client does not show up to class, the client will incur a no-show penalty of $20.

Georgetown Studio:
For credits and memberships that may be exclusively used to book classes at our Georgetown studio, you must unreserve from class prior to 9:00 PM the night before the class. If you cancel after that time, the applicable Late Cancel fee of $20.00 will be charged to the card on file, and you will retain the class credit.
For credits and memberships that may be used to book classes at all studio locations, you must unreserve from class prior to 9:00 PM the night before the class. The Late Cancel fee and, if applicable, loss of credit is then assessed based on studio-specific policies above.

Unused credits will expire at the end of a billing cycle, unless they are used to book classes during the next billing cycle prior to their expiration, as long as the membership remains active.
If the membership or future reservations made with credits from previous cycles are cancelled, the credits will disappear and cannot be added back to an account since they technically expired at the end of the previous billing cycle.
Additionally, Auto-Renew Members can book classes into the next billing cycle before their payment date, but this borrows credits from their upcoming billing cycle. If credits are borrowed and the membership is terminated, reservations made using those credits will be cancelled.

All participants should wear what they feel comfortable and supported in. Grip socks are required for Mat Pilates, Mat Sculpt, Mat Strength, and Barre classes. Should you forget grip socks, we offer them for sale in our studios. Clean sneakers are required for all other class formats.

A towel for sweat and a water bottle. We have bottled water, sweat towels, and grip socks for sale. There is a water bottle filling station at our Georgetown studio.
We provide mats and props for all classes.

Alexandria:
There’s metered street parking out front on Reinekers Lane (our entrance is technically on Reinekers between Duke and Prince Street) and around the corner down Prince and Diagonal Streets. Down Prince, once you cross Diagonal, there’s street parking on the right side of Prince, past the Hilton Hotel, and also on South Peyton Street.
Georgetown:
There is metered street parking on K/Water Street NW and Wisconsin Ave NW. There is also a paid public parking garage next door at 1010 Wisconsin Ave NW.

Alexandria:
We have one bathroom with one shower. Clients can use the bathroom to change. We ask that anyone using the shower please shower and change quickly.
Georgetown:
We have a changing area with one shower as well as two restrooms. We kindly request that clients limit their time to 15 minutes in the changing area after class ends.
At both studios, we provide complimentary hair and skincare amenities.
